The Racial Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (REIB) Department cordially invites you to join us for this year's Juneteenth Gospel Brunch. Together, we will pay homage to the history and legacy of Juneteenth, immersing ourselves in music, art, and community under the theme of Embrace & Belonging.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 15th, 2024, as we gather in the heart of Burlington, VT, for an uplifting morning of soul-stirring melodies and delectable brunch. From 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, the Contois Auditorium at City Hall will come alive with the powerful sounds of gospel music, creating an unforgettable experience.

Prepare to be inspired as we welcome Reverend Rene' Chandler from the New Alpha Missionary Baptist Church—the sole Black Church in the state of Vermont. Their insightful words will touch your heart and shed light on the significance of Juneteenth while honoring the enduring power of gospel music in our collective journey toward freedom and equality, all backed by the Juneteenth Community Choir led by Musical Director Dexter Criss.
