About this Event

To divine freedom is to seek it, sense it, and draw it up — from the stories our elders carry, the history Detroit holds, and the future we’re building together.

Join Eastside Community Network for a day filled with community storytelling, youth activities, meaningful conversations and delicious food experiences from Stoudamire Class Instructor Ms. Gayle's Louisiana Kitchen.

The event will also include special-ribbon cutting dedication for loved community member Willie Mae Gaskins, as well as an inspiring author talk from our President & CEO Donna Givens-Davidson about her recent novel, Divining Freedom.
