About this Event

Meyer Levin is a vibrant middle school in the heart of East Flatbush Brooklyn. Juneteenth is a momentous occasion that marks the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates the contributions of African Americans to our society. Meyer Levin has created our own curriculum and interdisciplinary unit that brings us together to celebrate our shared history, culture, and traditions. We plan to have a day full of fun, fellowship, beauty, and celebration.

We would like to cordially invite you to come out and support our efforts in bringing more awareness to the community about the Juneteenth holiday and all that it represents. Meyer Levin will be hosting a Juneteenth Celebration on Monday, June 19, 2023 from 12PM to 3PM at 5909 Beverly Road, Brooklyn, NY 11203. At our event we will have:
