Juneteenth Celebration & Pop Up Shop

Join us for an exciting Juneteenth Celebration on Friday, June 19 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Mount Carmel Baptist Church! Sponsored by The Hines Foundation, this community event will feature over 20 Black-owned businesses and vendors, live performances, poetry, cheer and dance performances, cultural experiences, and opportunities to connect, support, and celebrate together. We are proud to award 3 scholarships in memory of loved ones and more than 26 Transition Trunk Scholarships to graduating high school seniors, providing essential items to help students successfully transition into college life. Guests can enjoy free family fun including face painting, raffles, a free bounce house for kids, and so much more. We will also have a massage therapist on site along with food, shopping, entertainment, and uplifting community vibes throughout the day. Come celebrate freedom, culture, and community with us while honoring the spirit and significance of Juneteenth!
