Welcome to the Juneteenth "Freedom Day" Free Celebration! Join us on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Kennedy Park for a day filled with music, food, and community. Let's come together to celebrate the end of slavery in the United States and honor the legacy of those who fought for freedom. Bring your friends and family for a day of fun and reflection. See you there!There will be a basketball tournament happening at the event.
There will also be a free dance class provided by Veeva Banga.
Veeva Banga is a local dance instructor. She specializes in Afro Beats and Hip Hop. Come enjoy a free dance class outdoors. Veeva will start with a brief warmup followed by a detailed breakdown of the choreography.
