June Uncommon Ramen at Uchibā Dallas

Uchibā Dallas welcomes guest chef Misti Norris of Rainbowcat TX and Farout Dallas for June’s Uncommon Ramen, the monthly series featuring one-night-only ramen collaborations.

Raised in a Cajun household in Houston, Norris brings her signature Southern and Cajun influence to the menu through preservation techniques and fire-driven cooking. She previously was the Executive Chef and Owner of acclaimed Petra and the Beast, earning recognition from Esquire, Food & Wine, and the James Beard Foundation.

Menu

• Gumbo Ramen ($24.50) with tonkotsu broth, roux tare, smoked beef belly, shaved andouille, pickled okra, and ajitama
• Gumbo Vegetarian Ramen ($19.50) with veggie dashi, roux tare, smoked cauliflower, shaved king trumpet, and pickled okra ajitama
• Special items including pork & shrimp pearl meatballs and chunky potato noodles
