The Summer Solstice also know as Midsummer or Litha is quickly approaching! One can feel Nature vibrating with the fertileness of the Goddess & the God. The Earth basks in the light & life of the Sun. Each day we witness the strengthening light, longer days which as always, are in sync with the ever turning Wheel of the Year. There is much that can be venerated during the early weeks of summer....vigor, fertility, creativity, power, abundance, masculine energy, & the shift from the precipice of increasing light to the certainty of shorter days.
During this Tarot & Tea Gather we will with the help of the Tarot be guided into connecting & working with these potent energies! We will also enjoy a delightful iced tea concoction and a sweet midday treat!
During most Tarot & Tea Gathers, Betula ~ Monica provides an opportunity for our guests to learn from experiences rooted in Pagan or Witchcraft practices. In the past some of these activities included guided pathworking, connecting with Spirit while blending our own teas, & manifesting our hopes and desires within seeds planted during the Ostara Season. For our June Tarot & Tea, we will hand craft a lovely Solar infusion of seasonal Herbes & Flowers. Once complete, this lovely anointing oil is meant to celebrate the season, consecrate ritual tools and oneself prior to meditation or ritual. **Please read further for more details and what to bring**
Please come prepared with the following items: dried flowers & herbs that have been respectfully collected from the land upon which you dwell or visit. Some Herbes to consider are St. John's wort, chamomile, calendula, lavender, rosemary, mugwort, thyme, meadowsweet, verbena, sage, mint, fennel & roses. Take care to thoroughly dry all plant materia. Feel free to bring any small crystals or other symbolic pretties to add into your oil. Research & journal their spiritual meanings, strengths and if they are appropriate or resonate for your Summer anointing oil. We will gladly supply everything else including glass jars, essential oils, & sunflower oil. Due to this extra material cost, I am asking your consideration for the extra $5.00 increase. Please notify me directly via 484-624-2308 if you have any sensitivities to sunflower oil.
All experience levels are welcome as we gather as friends & make new ones too, explore the tarot and have a chance at taking home a door prize! Bring your tarot & oracle decks or borrow/buy one here. Ashley, Lady Hawk ~ Spirit Craft, Gavin the BearFoot Mystic, and I will facilitate this lovely gathering! We can seat approximately 12 people. DO NOT DELAY. FIRST COME - FIRST SERVED.
