1000 Hearts is a kindness project started by Sarah De Jonge of Australia. The purpose is to create a small embroidered heart to give away to someone who is in need of comfort or hope. Bonnie will be teaching us how to make these adorable hearts. She is graciously suppling the precut wool hearts. All you need to bring are some threads, needle, scissors and your imagination. For more information about 1000 Hearts and inspiration of finished pieces, please visit www.1000hearts.com.au
This meeting will be held at the El Dorado Community Center located at 2800 Studebaker Road, Long Beach. The parking lot is just north of the center -- between E. Spring Street & E. Willow Street. We will gather outdoors under the gazebo. Please bring your stitching supplies, a chair, and lunch.
