Please join us on Thursday, June 18th at noon as Ashley Senske, Collections Manager for the National Comedy Center and Lucy Desi Museum and Marvin House Board Vice President, presents the fascinating story behind Forever Darling and Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz’s unforgettable 1956 homecoming to Jamestown. Guests will learn about the glamorous two-day celebration that drew nearly 25,000 people, complete with parades, movie screenings, and community-wide excitement as Hollywood came to town. Ashley will share behind-the-scenes details about the film, the couple’s connection to Jamestown, and why this historic premiere remains one of the city’s most cherished moments seventy years later.Luncheon served will be a Turkey sandwich on ciabatta roll with Havarti cheese, tomato pesto and basil mayonaise
