As Angelenos we know all too well June means the arrival of "June Gloom" with depressing overcast skies and fog (and perfect board game weather!). As such, this month's theme will be games that fit the "June Gloom theme" - games set in dark/depressing/post-apocalyptic settings, have evil/villains, or otherwise spooky. Examples include Dead of Winter, Downfall of Pompeii, Survive the Island, Arkham Horror, Horrified, and Villainous.Feel free to bring your favorite “gloom” games. You can also just show up and join any open table! Games will start promptly at 7:30 PM. I will have a black and orange BoardGameGeek bag on the table (we will likely be in the back room).
