The Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy invite young adults to join them for an Evening with the Merciful Jesus. The evening will include the Divine Mercy Chaplet, a talk, adoration with praise and worship music, confession, refreshments, and fellowship. No registration required. This month, Fr. Pawel Sass will give a talk on the new evangelization. To share the good news of the Gospel is a special calling for all of us in the post-pandemic world. Even though the Church has been speaking about evangelization for several decades, the third millennium of faith, in which we live, seems to be in greatest need of it. St. John Paul II spoke a lot about the new evangelization during his pontificate.
Praise and worship during Adoration will be led by Matthew Andres August, who is studying music at the University of Maryland and is one of the young people participating in the EMJ’s.
After the talk and the prayer will be time to meet and chat over refreshments.
