 EXTRAORDINARY SWING & JIVE MADNESS THIS NEW YEAR!!

 The supersonic Sicilian band of Jumpin’ Up is simply one of the hottest European jive swing & rhythm ‘n blues bands just as those that occurred in the american dance joints of the 40’s and the 50’s. The group swings the European clubs and festivals for the last 20 years in the original mode of Louis Jordan Roy Brown Louis Prima and the Neapolitan way of Renato Carosone or Fred Buscaglione.  The crazy music of Jumpin’ Up is showcasing to real life the vintage scent of old movies and the fun parties of the era before and after the war.

The band is led by the unreal entertainer and singer Tony Marino and his warm voice. The skilled members of the band are led by the sharp jump-blues guitarist Giuseppe Montalbano while the steady rockabilly style bass playing of Alberto Falzone matches with the incredible shuffle rhythms of drummer Peppe Falzone. The dance spirit is completed by the amazing piano of Giuseppe Salerno and the three ever wiggling horns of Nicola Genualdi Carmello Sacco and Vincenzo Salerno.   With Jumpin’ Up on that Half Note Jazz Club stage the Holiday spirit around New Year’s could not have been more fun!
