Jumpin' into Easter Cookie Decorating Class

This class is for the beginner cookier or for the person who is just curious about what cookie decorating is all about! If you have limited experience with sugar cookies, found yourself frustrated with royal icing, or if you're trying to have fun with family or friends, this is the class for you!

We’ll be decorating a “hoppy” Easter theme this time – lots of bunnies gettin’ into all sorts of mischief trying to find carrots while we decorate Easter eggs!

We provide everything you will need from cookies, icing, sprinkles, and a box to take your awesome creations home in - we just need YOU! Each to-be-baker gets 6 cookies, 4 icing colors, sprinkles, and all the tools necessary to knock this cookie class out of the park! Everything is prepped right before class – so no baking or icing mixing required. Just decorate!

This class is on April 6th and starts at 1:00 pm sharp so we can have enough time to decorate and answer along the way. Come by yourself, bring your best friend, or bring the family - we have seating for up to 12 people! It's a blast whether you're coming with a friend, family member, or solo!
This class is good for ages 8 and up, but if you'd like to leave the kiddos at home, purchase an add-on kit (more on that below)! The kits are great for kids at home, plus - we'll send you the class notes so you can teach them yourself! Children under 15 will need an adult with them. Each attendee will need to purchase a ticket, sorry no sharing cookie sets!

The class will be held at the The Common Ground in Medina Ohio located at 220 North State Road. Get there early, parking can fill up fast on the weekends!

Wondering what you need to bring to have a successful time decorating? Well – nothing’s required – but here’s the things we recommend if you’d like to elevate your experience!

· Bring an apron! Things can get messy when you’re workin’ with royal icing – so grab an apron (bonus points if it’s cute – I’ll definitely be asking where you got it).

· Bring your glasses! If you need them of course!

· Bring your phone! I love it when students take pictures throughout class – so bring a phone!

· Bring a good attitude! Cookies are fun, but they're also challenging! A good attitude makes all the difference.

Class Cancelation Policy: Classes may be canceled at the discretion of me, the event host. This rarely happens – but in that extremely rare event that it does, you’ll receive a 100% refund including any ticket fees.

Classes with attendance below 5 may be canceled. Don’t be sad! You can either get a class credit for a future class (along with my apologies), or a full refund! I’ll let you know if your class has low attendance 7 before the event is canceled so that you can bring a friend (hint hint) or find other plans for that day.

Weather Policy: Sometimes Jack Frost doesn’t play well with cookie class schedules, and Mother Nature seems to be takin’ notes. In the event of inclement weather, I’ll contact you with options – these may differ depending on the weather event but rest assured – we’ll figure something out!
