Valley attempts to prepare its students well for each major change they encounter. To that end, we are hosting Jump Up to Middle School next Tuesday, May 7th from 8:45 to 9:45 am. This event is for all registered 6th graders for Fall of 2024. We will have a couple of new students who will be attending the event and we are excited for everyone to meet.
This time will be spent telling the students about the differences Middle School at Valley will bring such as how you switch classes each period and keep you books in the locker, how to go about earning service hours, a bit more ownership of their classes, etc. We are hopeful that our new middle school teachers may be able to stop by.
