Jumchi Paper Art

Discover the beautiful, tactile art of Jumchi, a traditional Korean technique that transforms layers of mulberry paper into a strong, textured, almost fabric like material using only water and your hands.
In this workshop you'll learn the basics of layering, wetting, agitating and manipulating paper fibers to create a completely unique piece. No two pieces will turn out the same!
This is a satisfying process where you can slow down, experiment and simply see where the materials take you. Perfect for anyone who loves fiber art, handmade paper, collage, mixed media OR simply trying an art form you've never experienced before. Come squish some paper with us and discover just how beautiful it can become!
