This is going to be a great event! We will start around 10:00 with a tour of the orchard.
At 10:30, we are thrilled to have Danielle from BC Bats to come present to us everything you want to know about bats. https://bcbats.ca/
Also, the work party will involve various tasks aimed at maintaining the orchard, such as thinning apples and summer pruning. It's an excellent opportunity to gain insight into the inner workings of a community orchard and contribute to its upkeep. Your participation will make a significant difference!
And then at 11:00, there will be bunnies! Folks with adorable furry friends are invited to a Bun Social hosted by No Furries Delights. It's a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow bunny parents while enjoying delicious treats. Bring your own bunnies along to mingle, hop around, and have a delightful time!

Feel free to drop by anytime between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Typically, we conclude the event around 1:00 PM with a potluck, so we kindly request that you bring dishes, cutlery, and any food or drinks you'd like to share with others. Let's savour a delicious meal together and nurture a strong sense of community.

As you may know, Copley Community Orchard relies on donations to sustain its operations since it is not a City of Vancouver park. The orchard's funding comes from grants and contributions, making your support invaluable.
If you can contribute, online donations are preferred, but we also accept cash for your convenience. The suggested donation for the season is $20.00 to $50.00 or $5.00 per event.
