Theme: Pride!
June may be official Pride month in most places, but did you know Troy's first Pride Festival, hosted by Collar City Pride, is taking place July 14th? So this month at Front Parlor, we’re celebrating pride! I mean that in the capital-P sense of LGBTQ+ Pride month, but also in the lowercase-p, commonplace definition of the word.
So if you’re part of the beautiful rainbow of LGBTQ+ community, come share a story about coming out, or finding community, or embracing your truest self (even if any, or all, of that is still a work in progress). If it’s gay, we wanna hear about it!
And if you’re not part of the community, your stories are welcome, too (we love an ally!) Tell us what lowercase pride means to you, about a moment when you felt proud of yourself or someone in your life.
