Sensory Friendly Feature | One World, One Sky
Saturday, July 11 @ 11 a.m. (Doors open at 10:30)
Longway Planetarium | 1310 E. Kearsley St. Flint
One World, One Sky Join Big Bird, Elmo and their new friend from China, Hu Hu Zhu as they learn about the Sun, the Moon, and the Big Dipper, then blast off in an imaginary rocket to the Moon! Along the way, they invite the audience to sing along to songs about space and celebrate the sky that belongs to everyone. It’s the perfect introduction to space for our littlest astronomers!
Recommended for children ages 3+
During sensory-friendly shows, we turn the lights up and turn the sound down to provide a safe, welcoming environment for our friends with special needs. Sensory-friendly shows will now feature open captioning for the hearing-impaired community. Be yourself and find the best spot in the house to enjoy the show! Doors open at 10:30 a.m.
