Bring your current read and your favorite tea order for a cozy afternoon of books, conversation, and community. No assigned reading, no pressure—just books, tea, and good company.

📖Meeting Schedule

• 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM | Check in, find a seat, chat, and get settled! Food and drinks aren't required, but we encourage supporting our host venue if you're able.
• 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM | Silent reading time! Bring a physical book, eBook, audiobook, or even craft quietly while you listen.
• 2:30 PM – 3:00 PM | Snap our book stack photo, chat, and wrap up.

📖 Reading time is from 6:30–7:30 PM.
If you’re planning to leave early, please do so before reading begins, or plan to stay through the full reading hour until 7:30 PM.
📌 Important Info

• No Early Seating: If you are not a host please do not sit at SBC reserved tables until 5:30 PM. This helps both our venue avoid holding tables longer than needed and ensures a smooth, distraction-free reading experience for everyone including our hosts. If you arrive early, please wait to use those tables until that time—guests seated before 5:30 PM may be asked to move, and it will count as a strike under our RSVP policy.
• Check In: Attendees must check in with the organizer. Failure to check in will result in a dock to the attendance policy.

📚 Cancellations / No-Show Policy
RSVP's and Cancellation window will close for that day 2 days prior to events.
RSVP/No-Show Policy:
We understand that unexpected situations happen, and we know plans can change. To keep things fair for everyone and ensure our venues have accurate attendance numbers, we kindly ask that you update your RSVP at least 48 hours before the event if you can no longer attend.

We monitor both no-shows and late cancellations (less than 48 hours' notice), including cancellations made through Eventbrite. After three (3) no-shows or late cancellations, you will receive a 30-day RSVP pause before you can register for future Silent Book Club events.This includes Eventbrite RSVP's. Cancelling your RSVP via eventbrite within the 48 hour window still counts as a dock to the policy.

Your RSVP is a commitment to attend. If the date or time changes, you will not be penalized. However, if only the location changes, your RSVP will still be considered valid and must be updated or canceled within 48 hours.
