July Meet the Artist
Her Biography
I was raised in a small commuter town on Long Island, New York, where I naturally drifted toward painting. I took every art class my high school offered, laying the foundation for a lifelong creative path. After graduating, I attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, earning a degree in Fashion Design, and later completed a Bachelor of Science in Clothing and Textiles in Business at Arizona State University.
My background in art and fashion shaped a diverse career as I moved across the United States. I began as a fashion designer, creating swimwear, before transitioning into education. I taught fashion design at Purdue University in Indiana, and after relocating to Texas, expanded my teaching to include desktop publishing, multimedia, web design, animation, and video production.
Throughout every chapter, I continued to create art, exhibiting in private shows wherever I lived and earning awards along the way.
My current mediums include acrylics, pastels, watercolor, and mixed media, with an emphasis on layered color, strong compositional design, and a diverse set of refined techniques.
I am an active member of several art organizations in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. My work often explores the balance between structure and atmosphere, blending geometric forms with expressive movement to evoke calm, clarity, and purposeful design. Many of my pieces investigate the interplay of water, air, and land, creating visual spaces that feel both grounded and expansive.
My artwork has been exhibited in private and juried shows across the country and is held in several corporate and private collections nationwide.
