July Assembly and Potluck
Sunday Assembly is a non-religious congregation that meets once a month to share our stories, create community, and learn from our experiences. We are inclusive and everyone is valued here.
Sunday Assembly Sacramento is held in the Reason Center at 1300 Ethan Way, Suite 675 toward the back of the building. As always, families are welcome. The doors open at 10:30 am and the program will begin at 11:00 am.
Angela Di Martino is the Community Engagement Senior Manager at MUTTVILLE Senior Dog Rescue in San Francisco, CA. In this role, she manages all actvities in the Seniors for Seniors Program, including Cuddle Clubs, Humane Education programs and community outreach events. She started volunteering at Muttville in 2013 at Cuddle Club, and continued volunteering as an adoption counselor and outreach event leader, until joining Muttville as a full-time staff member in 2022. Along with other degrees, she holds an MA in Integrated Health Studies, and her master’s thesis explored the social and physical health benefits of seniors volunteering with animals.
MUTTVILLE’S VISION: “We envision educating and inspiring the world to love and care for senior dogs until every dog has a loving forever home”.
We reach out to senior dogs at risk, give them the care they need, and find them loving forever homes. If we had our way, no dog would spend their last days in a shelter. There is so much love and joy in these dogs!
Our program includes a speaker, some community announcements, and a potluck. Please bring a dish to share unless you are a newcomer. Donuts and coffee are provided. Hope to see you there!
