Note: You must call us first to register for a transport. Once you give your information to our volunteer, you will then be contacted on a separate call or text when your pet has been scheduled. You are not confirmed for a date until you hear back from a PAWS volunteer. Please don't come to transport unless you have received confirmation emails from the ASPCA and PAWS.
This transport will be for 36 animals, with a limit of 9 Female dogs. The normal low-cost fee for any dog or cat for Spay/Neuter Surgeries & Rabies vaccination is $45 regardless of sex or weight. If you are a Veteran or receive public assistance such as Food Stamps, Disability, we will provide funding assistance as it's available, you are eligible for Free Services if funding is available

The ASPCA has granted PAWS FREE Spay/Neuter, Feline FVCRP vaccine, Rabies Vaccine, and Ivermectin worming for all feral, community, and personally owns cats in Rutherford County with the stipulation that their left ear be tipped, no exceptions. All feral, stray, and cats that can't be handled by strangers without the risk of being bitten or scratched must come in traps only, no carriers and no exceptions.
The basic $45 fee includes an initial exam, sedation meds, spay/neuter, pain medication, supplemental oral medications as needed for pain, anxiety, infection control, flea control, overnight hospital stay, and final departure exam. Injectable meds will incur a modest cost.
The ASPCA offers other services such as Distemper/Parvo for Dogs including Kennel Cough vaccine $10, Hernia repair $10, and Micro-chipping $10 and for Cats, Feline FVCRP vaccine $10. Nail Trims are FREE!
Conditions for Transport: Dogs must be at least 4 mos old and if under 1 year old, must have had at least two set (three highly recommended) of puppy vaccines + kennel cough vaccine (strongly recommended). Cats must be 3 mos and 3 lbs, and are strongly suggested to have had one-two sets of vaccines (ferals excluded).
All vaccines should be administered no later than one week before transport. You can either get these vaccines through your vet or by purchasing them at a local feed and seed store and administering them yourselves for a cost of about $13-$15 each.
Drop off at Universal Auto Credit on Tuesday, July 7th between 7:15 am - 7:30 am. Pick up will be Wednesday, July 8th back at Universal Auto Credit at 11:30 am.
