Celebrate July 4th with Friends of the Riverwalk as we host our July 4th Boat Parade, Water Ski Show (NEW this year), & Blessing of the Fleet as part of the Boom by the Bay festivities. The parade route will be similar to our holiday light boat parade but will include a Water Ski Show to kick off the celebration, a poker run and a blessing station. The Blessing of the Fleet is a tradition that began years ago but is still practiced in many fishing and boating communities around the world to ensure a safe and bountiful season.
Boats will be decorated in colorful flags and compete most patriotic! We will also provide prize bags for all registered boaters. Check into all our Poker Run stops for a chance to win the GRAND PRIZE!
Registration is required to participate in the boat parade. Spectators are free.

TIMELINE:
4:00 PM - Sparkman Wharf opens
6:00 PM - Water Ski Show (Viewing available ONLY at Sparkman Wharf)
6:00 PM - Boat Parade Begins (IMPORTANT: See times below for where/when to view the parade)
6:15 PM Convention Center
6:30 PM Curtis Hixon Park
6:45 PM Armature Works
7:15 PM Davis Islands & Channel Drive
7:30 PM Sparkman Wharf
9:15 PM Fireworks Show at Sparkman Wharf
Watch the boat parade from Sparkman Wharf and join the festivities!
Boom by the Bay will acitivate at several parks and local hotspots around Tampa's Downtown.

- Boom on Bayshore (south of Davis Islands Bridge) - largest fireworks display!
- Star Spangled Sparkman at Sparkman Wharf
- The Heights District 4th of July Celebration at Armature Works
Please note: there will be no fireworks at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, Julian B Lane Riverfront Park, or the Tampa Convention Center this year.
