About this Event
High school teachers, join the youcubed curriculum writing team* for an introductory workshop to prepare to teach all 8 units of Explorations in Data Science! The training is conducted in person at Stanford University over four and a half days and offers in-depth sessions on each unit, including hands-on experience with the technology tools in the course.
Individual participants: $1,990 per person
Groups of 2 or more: $1,800 per person
* PLEASE NOTE THAT JO BOALER IS NOT A PRESENTER AT THIS WORKSHOP
Monday through Thursday, the workshop will begin at 9:00 am Pacific Time and end at 3:00 pm Pacific Time and will include a catered lunch. On Friday, the workshop will begin at 9:00 am Pacific Time and end at noon Pacific Time (no lunch provided on this day). A continental breakfast will be provided each morning of the workshop. Participants will receive a certificate verifying 20 Professional Development Hours (2 CEUs).
Please note that, except for free parking that we offer to attendees, transportation and lodging are not included in the workshop fee and all travel arrangements are the responsibility of the participant and/or their school or district.
