The evening will feature Aztec dance, Folklórico, and contemporary dance inspired by various sigils from the Mexica (Me-shee-cah) or Aztec calendar stone. This concert follows Julio Medina's journey of reclamation of indigenous identity and reshaping his Mexican heritage. This evening of dances is a ritual of offerings to Mother Earth and reclaiming power in rebirth.
