---------------------------------Das wohltemperierte Klavier by Johann Sebastian Bach is one of the great monuments of Western music. Bach completed this collection of 48 preludes and fugues in all 24 major and minor keys in 1742 and inspired all the great composers with it. In his new album A Well-Tempered Conversation, Belgian pianist Julien Libeer juxtaposes these masterly preludes and fugues with some of their spiritual grandsons, capturing no less than three centuries of music in 24 keys by doing so.
