Boston native Julie Rhodes musical career started “on a whim”. After singing along in the audience at a house show, she was given some words of encouragement to write her own songs. That night, she began writing her first song and before long she was recording her debut album with producer Jonah Tolchin. She released Bound to Meet the Devil in 2016 and it's clear this powerhouse vocalist/songwriter is an artist on the rise.
Coyote Kolb is the artist name of New England based singer songwriter and producer Chadley Kolb. Known for a mesmerizing brand of outlaw country blues, folk, and roots music, Kolb has shared stages with artists like Taj Mahal, Counting Crows, The White Buffalo, Deer Tick, and many more. Kolb also composes ambient music with several songs in TV and Film over the years. He has been writing, recording, and performing original music since the late 1990’s, (as Coyote Kolb since 2008.)
Our local Rougarou can make good on the Cajun promise by adding a little banjo into the mix for a swampy, jammy sound.
It’s deep-fried roadhouse music that makes for good ambience while smashing a glass beer bottle over someone’s head in an 80s action flick. You know, one of those “odd couple” type of flicks where the straight-laced partner is always trying and failing to keep the wildcard partner in check.-Humpday News
