About this Event
After quickly selling out of tickets for Release Celebration, we’ve decided to add a more casual meet and greet at the end of the night for folks who’d still love the opportunity to meet Susan Lee and her conversation partners Alexis Daria and Ali Hazelwood.
Tickets include a copy of Julia Song Is Undateable—a fresh, funny, and emotional rom-com already earning high praise from readers and reviewers alike.
Title by Alexis and Ali will be available for purchase at the store. You can head inside to purchase additional titles and then head to signing line which will be outside the ADA door. While in line, you will receive your copy of Julia Song Is Undateable. Please do not ask for your Julia Song book inside the store. It will be given to you at check-in!
Each author will sign up to 3 books per person (books can be brought from home or purchased at Lovestruck Books). These books will not be personalized. Lovestruck Books staff will help to take candid photos- no posed photo requests, please.
EVENT DETAILS
- 8:45 PM: Signatures, Snapping Pics, and Salutations – Meet the authors, get your book signed, and snap a photo.
- 10:00 PM: Event Wraps Up – Thanks for joining us!
Tickets are limited, so grab yours soon! If the event sells out, you can join the waitlist. Should any spots open up, you’ll have 24 hours to register before we offer them to the next person.
ACCESSIBILITY
The book signing line will begin at our side entrance (on the right side of the building), which is fully wheelchair accessible and includes a ramp. If you have mobility needs and would feel more comfortable arriving early, we’d love to accommodate you! Just send us a note at [email protected], and we’ll be happy to make arrangements to ensure everything goes smoothly.
We’re always working to make our events as welcoming and accessible as possible, so if you have questions, need support, or want to share feedback, we’d love to hear from you.
BOOK PICKUP POLICY
If you purchased a book with your event ticket but can’t make it to the event—and don’t request a refund—we’ll happily hold your book for pickup for up to 30 days after the event date.
We’ll be in touch via the email you provided at checkout to help coordinate pickup. After 30 days, if we haven’t heard from you or made other arrangements, we’ll consider the book abandoned property and may donate it or return it to inventory so it can find a new home.
Thanks so much for your understanding and for supporting our events—we love doing this with you!

ABOUT SUSAN LEE
Susan Lee is a USA Today bestselling author of both young adult and adult romantic comedies. Her work has been featured in national outlets such as Buzzfeed, NPR, People Magazine and Pop Sugar. Kirkus Reviews calls Susan’s voice “honest, fresh and thoughtful”. A graduate of UC San Diego, Susan built a career as an HR executive at some of today’s hottest companies, until she realized that writing love stories was a more impactful and powerful form of resistance and change. Now she channels her energy into publishing Happily Ever Afters for those historically underrepresented in Romance. When she is not writing (or painfully procrastinating from writing), Susan can be found down the rabbit holes of her many obsessions including listening to Kpop, binge watching K-dramas, collecting sneakers, building mechanical keyboards, and obsessing over her diva chihuahua, Buttercup.
ABOUT JULIA SONG IS UNDATEABLE
"Introspective, funny, relatable, sexy—it's an absolutely perfect romance."
—Christina Lauren, New York Times bestselling author of The Unhoneymooners
CEO seeks dating coach
Julia Song, CEO of Starlight Cosmetics, is at the height of her career. Then why does she feel like such a failure? Maybe because she’s thirty and single, with a terrible track record at dating. And in the eyes of her Korean family, that is just unacceptable. It never really bothered her—that is until her beloved grandmother drops the bomb that she is sick and her dying wish is for Julia to get married. Impossible. So in a moment of weakness, Julia asks her family for help. Set her up on three dates to help her find The One. But it will never work—Julia is undateable. If only there was a coach for that…
Tae Kim knows about the weight of familial expectation. He’s currently unemployed, living in his parents’ basement to care for his ill father. Sure, he’s become somewhat of a fix-it man for the Korean community around town, but that’s not a real job. And the pressure to get his life together is getting to be too much. So when the Julia Song—his childhood crush—asks for his help, it may be just the distraction he needs. He’ll do whatever it takes, even coach her for these three dates. Problem is, the more time they spend together and the closer they get, the more Tae wonders if anyone is good enough for Julia…including him."
