April 17th 2027 JULIA GAHAGAN – Mini Quilt Techniques
JULIA@S TALK IS POSTPONED TILL APRIL 2027
“I like to make small and miniature quilts using both hand and machine stitching. I have developed a quick and easy technique to make mini quilts and I enjoy teaching this to share the fun and enjoyment in making fun little quilts. I find inspiration from the natural world through walking and cycling in the Surrey Hills and travel to the Mediterranean, especially the Greek Islands. I also enjoy working with vintage and recycled fabrics to create collaged and textured backgrounds for appliqué, quilting and embroidery.”
The Event is free to AVS members and Non- Members will need to pay £7. There will be a Sales Table, a raffle, tea/coffee and cake. Hope to see you there!
