Saturday November 9th from 2pm to 6pm, Sunday November 10th from 12pm to 5pm
Cost:
$20 for one day or $30 for both. (Exact cash at door or e-transfer please)
To supplement the International Jukoshin Ryu Camp for those that cannot travel, we will be starting a twice a year Canadian Jukoshin Ryu Camp!
Students of all belt levels are encouraged to attend. You need not be a member of Jukoshin Ryu to attend so come out and see what this amazing system has to offer.
All students of Jukoshin Ryu are encouraged to attend as these camps will help provide critical information to ensure that the proper syllabus and techniques are being followed.
We will be running grading officer certification and recertification during this camp.
Please note that recertification of your grading officer level is REQUIRED yearly, so attendance at one of these camps OR the International Camp held in Europe (typically in March) is MANDATORY.
Who can apply to become a grading officer?:
To become a grading officer you must be an active black belt member, 1st dan or above, in Jukoshin Ryu. You must be an active instructor or student at a Jukoshin club.
Why you should attend:
• If you are or wish to be a grading office, attendance is MANDATORY to at least one of these camps.
•In depth review of the Jukoshin Ryu syllabus (yellow to 6th Dan) (not all levels may be reviewed at each camp)
•Ensuring that the proper syllabus is being taught throughout the system.
•Review of the fine details that cannot be learned for the official DVD’s.
•Gradings and awards may also be awarded at these events.
•The ability to learn from the Canadian Jukoshin Ryu Chief Instructor, Execrative Council Member, Technical Committee member, and 8th Dan in Jukoshin Ryu Jiu-jitsu, Shihan Jamie Rickard
At the end of the Saturday training we will do an awards presentation. If any attending instructors have any award, promotions etc that they would like to do at the camp, please let me know.
We will be going for after the awards presentations, location to be determined.
