ABOUT THE ARTISTS
The Thomas Milovac Quartet features Shawn Villanueva on Trumpet, Zach Muth on Guitar and David Weatherspoon on Drums.
Thomas Milovac is a bassist, composer, improviser, multi-instrumentalist and visual artist. He is the leader of various ensembles under his own name including the Thomas Milovac Sextet which released their album Sun Ray in 2022.
Thomas also performs with other groups including the Ryan Devlin Quartet, Ulysses Owens Jr. & Gen Y, John Lumpkin & the Covenant, Madre Vaca, the Steve Cohn Trio, Creek and the "pan-Florida improvisation syndicate" BONGUS. In 2021, Thomas started a record label, Cosmo Sonic Collective, focused on releasing improvised music.
He is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania but is now based in Orlando, Florida.
