Pop. Clink. Jam. Our Judson’s Live Brunch Series is part of a weekend well-lived. A mouthwatering menu meets top-shelf performances by musical masters of all genres – from Latin to jazz, bluegrass to R&B. Themes and artists change with every event, and no two weekends are ever the same.
ABOUT THE BRUNCH EXPERIENCE
With a curated menu inspired by the arts center’s executive chef, Jason Klingensmith, your ticket to this two-hour brunch includes a selection of made-to-order dishes, plus access to our specialty serving stations. Juice, milk and coffee are included, while alcohol and signature drinks are available for purchase.
ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Sweltering blues is on the menu with the powerhouse talent of New Orleans legend Johnny Sansone. The Grammy-nominated bluesman throws down a blend of delta blues, soul, southern rock and zydeco, performing original songs that weave storytelling into every lyric and note. Rocking the harp, accordion, guitar, piano and vocals, Johnny’s sizzling on-stage energy carries a swagger like no other.
Johnny has performed at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival for 30 consecutive years and has released 12 albums. His most recent release “Into Your Blues” (2022) was a fan-generated concept incorporating an all-blues original collection of songs. The renowned blues artist has also received 10 Blues Music Association nominations, and a win for Song of the Year.
