For school on Friday, 10/30, students are invited to participate in an optional costume parade that will begin at 9:30. If you prefer not to have your child participate, please email the principal at [email protected].
On that day, students should arrive at school at or before 9:00 a.m. They should be dressed in their costumes when they come to school. Teachers will bring them into the classroom, take attendance, and review expectations.
Parents, during this time, we will ask you to wait outside of the gates.
The gates will open at 9:25 a.m. for parents to go directly to the blacktop.
Each class will walk to the blacktop for the costume parade. We will begin at 9:30 a.m.
Please follow these costume tips:
- Please do not bring accessories including pretend weapons such as water pistols, knives or swords, or any other prop that is sharp or dangerous in nature, or even looks dangerous.
- Students must be able to sit, walk, breathe, see, and hear!
- Costumes must not be offensive in any way - Please use good judgment and err on the side of caution.
-Remember, not everyone loves being scared, so we do not want anything too scary. Please, help your child with what is appropriate for school.
If in doubt, don’t let your child wear it.
Costumes must still adhere to our dress code guidelines. Wear school-appropriate shoes.
