Juanita's Benefit Music Festival is a fundraiser for Juanita Pickens a beloved bartender and pillar of the East Austin Community. Please help us support Juanita as she battles the fight with breast cancer.

Juanita Pickens has been a beloved bartender in East Austin for over 8 years, serving up more than just drinks—she’s been offering friendship, a listening ear, and a welcoming smile to so many in our community. As a loving daughter, a devoted dog mom, and a loyal friend, she’s become a true pillar in East Austin’s nightlife. Now, after years of serving others, it’s time for us to serve her.

A few years ago, Juanita lost her father and had to fight a tough financial battle to keep the home he left her, a battle she ultimately lost. She thought her hardest days were behind her. But this August, she received devastating news: she’s been diagnosed with breast cancer. While Juanita is staying strong and hopeful, like so many in the service industry, her access to healthcare, PTO , and medical leave is severely limited.

This is where you come in.

This October 30, YOSO LLC and Radio East is hosting a benefit concert to raise money for Juanita. But we can’t do it without your help.

We are asking for donations—or financial support to help cover her medical costs, medical leave, and bills as she transitions into her new normal with breast cancer. Every bit helps Juanita in this fight, and together we can ease her burden and show her the love she’s shown us for so long.
