When a sickle cell crisis suddenly derails his life, comedian and filmmaker J. Snow grabs a camera and captures what few ever see: the raw, minute-by-minute reality of surviving a chronic illness. Part stand-up set, part survival log, part visual journal, the documentary blends hospital footage, humor, and hard truths to answer a question people rarely ask — what does it actually feel like to live with sickle cell?

For audiences with sickle cell, it’s a mirror. For everyone else, it’s an unfiltered education told through grit, wit, and the resilience of a patient who refuses to be pitied.
