Who can go to this conference?

Even though IYC is designed for children and teenagers, this conference welcomes all young adults, parents, grandparents, etc. - if you have breath in your lungs, come and join us for the services.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

People all ages are welcome to attend the services. Children under the age of 6 must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

We do not provide transportation. All attendees are asked to park in the main parking lot at Family Worship Center for all services, workshops, and events during JSM International Youth Conference.

What can I bring into the event?

Please do not bring back-packs or suitcases into Family Worship Center, you will be asked to leave it in your vehicle (purses and diaper bags are allowed). You are encouraged to bring your Bible, notepad, and pens.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, the ticket just serves as a means of registering on this site. No ticket is required for admission, but if you have the ticket it does make check in at the conference go faster.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Please register in the name of the person attending. That way we can match the badge to the person attending.

We are a group, how do we register?

Please register every attendee individually, you will be asked to input church name and group info during the registration process.

We are a family bringing our child to JSM International Youth Conference how do we register?

We encourage you to register everyone in the family for JSM International Youth Conference. If you want to register everyone, please register individually.

What is the weather like in Baton Rouge, LA in July?

In July, daily high temperatures are around 90°F, rarely falling below 85°F or exceeding 95°F.

I lost something, what should I do?

You can report lost items to the Lost and Found located in the foyer of the main sanctuary.

Will there be childcare at IYC?

Yes, every child in childcare is assigned a number, which is given to the parent. If your child’s number flashes on the sanctuary screens during services, please attend to your child immediately.

I have a crying baby. What are my options?

We have “cry rooms” available on the third floor for parents with infants and toddlers who need to step out of the sanctuary. Rocking chairs are available, and you can still hear the service.

When are children picked up from childcare?

Please pick up your children immediately after service is over.

Room 363 (3rd FL) - This room is availble for parents with special needs children during church services. The room is not staffed, so parents must remain with their children.
