J.S. Bach: Magnificat

This is a mixed programme of J.S. Bach featuring the glorious Magnificat for large orchestra, vocal soloists and choir, all conducted by Kathleen Allan. The performers are members of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, playing alongside singers and instrumentalists from the University of Toronto. The chorus is made up of some of Toronto's best freelance choristers.

You'll also hear the E major Violin Concerto, a CPE Bach Symphonia, some solo Bach and the motet Jesu, meine Freude. In addition, you'll get a chance to join in for the chorale sing-along. Music will be provided at the door.
