JR Yussuf will be discussing his new book, Dear Bi Men: A Black Man's Perspective on Power, Consent, Breaking Down Binaries, and Combating Erasure. He will be in conversation with Patrice Bryan, host of the Disrupting Silence podcast.
This event is free and open to all. Pre-order your copy of Dear Bi Men at Under the Umbrella Bookstore. Masks are required for in-person attendees. The venue is wheelchair accessible and ASL interpretation can be provided with two weeks advance notice.

About Patrice Bryan
Patrice is a pre-licensed Family treatment clinician specializing in trauma therapies. Their professional identity as a counselor is oriented toward a feminist psychodynamic therapeutic approach. She is also pursuing a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. Patrice hosts the Disrupting Silence podcast, encouraging people wishing to design a life without people pleasing and perfectionism to become disruptors and prioritize self-care.
