Come and enjoy National Fun Day and Junior Ranger Day here at the Park! Junior Rangers always brighten up the Visitor Center and park with their curiosity, sense of adventure, and desire to learn. This event will have a variety of kids programs available throughout the day. We will have a morning session and an afternoon session of the same three programs. We also have a special Junior Ranger Day Scavenger Hunt available for a special junior ranger day pin!Afternoon Session:
1:00-1:30pm: Registration (Sign in with Parent or Guardian)
1:30- 1:45pm: Orientation/Safety Briefing at the Outdoor Classroom next to the Visitor Center parking lot.
2:00-3:00pm: 2 group rotation between a) Pottery Program at the table at the bottom of the hill between the Visitor Center and the Earth Lodge and b) Earth Lodge Tour with a Ranger (1/8-mile uphill to Earth Lodge along the Main Trail).
3:00-3:30pm: Native American Games at the field outside Visitor Center
3:30-3:45pm: Swear in and Check Out (Badge will be received after checking out with parent or guardian)
