Consistent attendance is vital to the learning experience - If a participant has a valid reason for missing a session, they must proactively communicate their need for absence (via email and/or phone call) to Mentors
If unexcused absences become an issue, the participant will be dismissed from the program, allowing a wait-listed participant to take their place
Proactively engage in discussions - We want to hear your perspectives - No sleeping, disruptions, cussing, or disrespect to yourself or others will be tolerated
Parents/Guardians are expected to:
Provide participant with transportation to and from the meeting location (e.g. drop off & pick-up)
Ensure all sign up and waiver forms are complete (forms will be provided during first session)
Communicate delays in participant pick-up to Mentors, so we can plan facility supervision
Communicate any known, or recurring schedule conflicts to Mentors
Engage participant in discussion after each session to understand what they've enjoyed, learned, and how they will apply their new insights
Parents/Guardians are critically important to the success of each participant's experience and a successful program outcome.
