We are very pleased to be able to put together a night of deep-south and hill country inspired blues and americana in a grand face-off of the resonator guitars!JP Oldfield embodies the spirit of a traveling juke joint throw out from a bygone era, offering a distinctive blend of melancholic deep south blues with a touch of vaudeville satire. His performances are marked by a deep baritone voice and a commanding stage presence.
Support from Reverend Ferriday. The Rev's music has strong roots in Hillcountry Blues and Americana with a raw foot stomping, Juke Joint sound. Hip-shakin' acoustic and early electric guitar riffs are accompanied by sliding melodies and foot percusssion in a low down dirty blues sound.
