The first Brews & Tunes will kick off with J.P. Mathes! 🎉 J.P. Mathes II is a renowned roots and bluegrass musician from Elizabethton, Tennessee, celebrated for his international performances, including 20 tours in Japan, and appearances at iconic venues like the Grand Ole Opry and The Kennedy Center. He is also an educator with over 20 years of teaching experience and a TV personality featured on Netflix's "Swap Shop".
Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket to ensure seating. Food & Brews will start begin served at 4 p.m. There will be rotating food trucks and brews on tap each week.
Yoga in the Park takes place during Brews & Tunes at 4 p.m. in Jimmy Neil Smith Park behind the International Storytelling Center. Each class lasts an hour. There is no cost to participate, but donations are accepted. All levels are welcome from beginners to advance, and this series will be taught by certified area instructors. Participants can bring a yoga mat, towel or blanket. These classes are weather permitting. Learn more at Jonesborough.com/yoga.
