JoyRider Beginners Plus Bike Ride: Acton Green - Green Days Festival

This is a slower paced women's only ride suitable for anyone who can pedal, brake and steer the bike and is comfortable on quieter roads and shared use paths. The ride will be led by experienced ride leaders.

We will be meeting at 11.00h by Ealing Council on the corner of Uxbridge Road and Longfield Avenue.

We will ride to Acton Green along quieter back roads where we can to Acton Green to join the Green Days Fete and Craft Fair (part of the Bedford Park Festival) There will be a Cycle zone. with a Dr Bike, an opportunity to try cargo bikes and lots of other non cycling and craft areas for you to enjoy a lazy summer afternoon. Or, you can join the JoyRiders led ride from there which will take approximately 1.5 hours. This needs to be booked separately.

We will be riding back to Ealing at 3.30pm along C9 and on mostly quiet roads and shared paths. We aim to be back by16:00h.

Please bring with you:

• A helmet if you wish to wear one
• Water and Snacks
• Money/Card
• Spare inner tube for your own bike
• A bike lock for your own bike

PLEASE NOTE:

If you can't come please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer the place to someone on our waiting list as places are limited at the moment.

Do not come on our rides if you have Covid symptoms or have been in close contact with someone who has symptoms.
