The evening features special guest Jackson Galaxy (@thecatdaddy), renowned cat behaviorist, TV personality, Animal Planet star of My Cat From Hell, and New York Times best-selling author. Guiding the night’s program is Emcee Dan Ashley, award-winning reporter and anchor of ABC7 (KGO-TV). VIP table hosts and guests receive exclusive access to a meet and greet with Jackson Galaxy.
Guests will enjoy a lively pre-dinner reception with gourmet hors d’oeuvres and grazing stations, multiple open bars featuring local wines, beers, craft cocktails, and chic mocktails, and a three-course seasonal dinner with vegetarian and vegan options. Throughout the evening, mingle with Joybound’s adoptable animals, meet the beloved Pet Hug Pack therapy teams and learn more about the mission.
The night includes a curated silent auction, wine bidding, and a high-energy live auction featuring luxury travel and unique experiences, along with an online auction running throughout May. Entertainment ranges from strolling magician and mentalist Spencer Grey to an outdoor disco-themed photobooth. After the program, celebrate on the LED light-up dance floor with a DJ spinning iconic disco hits, and enjoy late-night drinks, coffee, mini sweets, and special gifts from P.L.A.Y. pet toys and Purina treats.
