Led by passionate practitioners, these workshops offer a unique opportunity to connect with the maunga, the land, its trees, its waters, and the celestial guidance of Matariki while learning traditional practices of plant identification and natural pigment dye making.
Workshop Part 1 - Tree Wisdom and Identification: Join us as we honor the history of Sandringham and Ngā Ana Wai and the ngahere rakau. Learn to recognize native trees and their cultural significance, guided by the celestial beacon of Matariki. Delve into the stories of our ancestors as we connect with the land and its guardians.
