The Deafblind Community would like to invite you to an event we are holding during Deafblind Awareness Week in June. Every year this week is dedicated to Deafblind communities around the world in line with Helen Keller’s birthday, the famous deafblind disability advocate. Join us for an experience through touch you won't forget. This event aims to raise awareness about the unique challenges faced by individuals who are deafblind. This interactive session has been designed by Deafblind community members to give you a glimpse into the experiences of deafblindness.
When : Friday 28th June 2024
Session times: 10-11:30am, 12-1:30pm, 2-3:30pm
Where: Newcastle Museum Theatrette
Cost: Free
