However you create - songwriters, visual artists, writers, poets, and more… you are welcome! The Church of the Holy Nativity is inviting you to our third United Adoration retreat, designed to create a unique sacred space where artists, creatives, and those interested in worshipping through the arts can come together from various churches and communities for an extended time to create, collaborate with one another, pray together, reflect on scripture, share meals, and worship God in community. Participants are then invited (but not required) to celebrate and share their work with the Holy Nativity community on Sunday, 6 October.
Saturday’s retreat will focus on the theme of justice, and our speakers will encourage and inspire you to connect with one and other and explore the theme as we journey together.
There will be time to work on our own ideas and to create something together for use in worship on Sunday 6 October.
Booking for the Saturday retreat includes an invitation to Friday night’s Live Lounge, a concert with hosts Robb & Ruth Sutherland and retreat leaders Andy Clark & Elise Massa.
This will be an inspiring evening of music and getting to know one and other in an informal setting alongside members of the local community. An opportunity to sharpen our creative skills and broaden our imaginations, and just have a little fun.

Registration includes:
-Friday evening social (donations welcome) includes an open bar and hot and cold snacks.
-Saturday will include breakfast, lunch, and snacks and drinks throughout the day to keep the creative energy flowing. We work to accommodate dietary needs such as gluten / dairy free (you can share information on dietary needs in your registration)
-An Inspiration Packet filled with scripture verses, artwork, hymns and prayers based on the theme 'Justice'.
-Space to reflect and create
-Inspiring teaching and encouragement on the theme Materials: You're welcome to bring a journal, laptop/tablet, a Bible, and whatever materials/instruments you need to create your music or art. Additional art supplies (paints, paper, pencils, etc.) will be provided as well.
We believe that when we gather to worship and create, the Holy Spirit does deep work in our souls, so we intentionally leave time during the retreat for the Holy Spirit to care for our souls.
Artists of all ages and artistic experience levels are welcome.
