Journey to Josiah is a Black-led, LGBTQIA+-founded social enterprise committed to building pathways to safety, belonging, and purpose for youth impacted by the foster care system. Our mission is to empower youth to define who they are, chart their futures, and build the life skills necessary to thrive, whether they age out of care, transition into permanency, or reside in group settings.
In 2025, our focus turns even more intentionally toward supporting LGBTQIA+ youth themselves. These young people are dramatically overrepresented in foster care, yet they remain some of the most under-supported. This year, we are responding with bold new programming — one that ensures every child has a chance to grow up in a safe, affirming, and loving home.
At the Gala, we’ll share powerful stories, unveil our latest impact, and present a vision for the future that we can only achieve together. It will be an evening filled with inspiration, celebration, and community — featuring live entertainment, dinner, a silent auction, and unforgettable moments.
