Jim Brulé, a death doula and spiritual storyteller, will share a story drawn from his new book, “Stories of the Heart,” and lead participants through a discussion of the deeper questions and understandings that the story evokes.Purchasing the book is not required, but copies are available for purchase through storiesoftheheartbook.com and Amazon.
Each month there will be a separate topic, related to each of the four sections of the book:
-Grief and Loss
-Facing Our Own Death
-Historic Loss
-(Im)mortality
Open discussion and dialogues, both about the story and the topic are welcomed and encouraged. There is no set agenda for this discussion.
Jim Brulé, MA, MS is a spiritual storyteller and death doula dedicated to assisting individuals and their families through life's final transition. Brulé is highly qualified in his field, holding a Master’s in Counseling Psychology and certifications from the National End-of-Life Doula Alliance and The Dying Year. He co-authored "Stories of the Heart" with Rebecca Lemaire, sharing global tales of dying and living, and leads online programs like “Legacy Storytelling” to help people create lasting legacies through their values and stories.
Brulé's mission is to use his life's lessons and professional expertise to guide individuals and families through spiritual growth and discovery, as well as the transformative journey surrounding the end of life.
