Journaling for Jokes uses guided questions and intentional writing to help you expound your thinking, sit with uncomfortable truths, and discover how humor lives inside the stories you've been carrying.

This isn't just a writing class. It's a space to excavate, to laugh, and to heal. This class is for you if you are: +

• Someone who has always wanted to tell their story but just needed the right excuse

About Your Instructor

Rochelle McConico is a comedian, teaching artist, director, and producer who has spent her career at the intersection of laughter and transformation. A career educator with K–12 classroom experience and a faculty history at Coldtowne Theater, Rochelle brings real pedagogical rigor to comedy development. She was named "Best All-Around Champion of Comedy" by the Austin Chronicle, performed at Moontower Comedy Festival, and is the co-founder and producer of the Lysistrata Comedy Festival.
